A Cure is in Near Future

June 8th, 2016 was a day of a new beginnings for patients with AIDS and HIV, and really all citizens worldwide. Scientists have been able to remove the virus from corrupted cells successfully this week, but that’s not all. Scientists from the Lewis Katz of Medicine from Temple University plan on starting human trials to completely remove the virus in the next three years.

Does this mean that there is an official cure to HIV and AIDS? Not quite yet, but its indeed a #kickoff. This is a huge advancement in human health and will be a life-changer to many citizens.
