When you start high school you see things differently

dreams,

life,

women,

even your parents.

You realize that is not what is important.

What’s important is to survive.

How?

making friends to help you the next four years

remembering that no matter what the seniors say

being you is just fine.

It sounds better

but it ain’t better

Years pass, grades change, clothes change, friends change

The worst part is

I still don’t know what I going do with my life

People come up to me asking

“Where you going?”

“What you doing?”

“Are you ready?”

“You know your life is going to change, right?”

I just want to tell them

“Leave me alone!”

“I don’t know, do you?”

“Always.”

“Of course.”

Finally, it’s almost over.

I might not be old but

but I’m still a senior.
