Sergi Roberto scores to put Barcelona in the Quarter Finals

One chance to win it all, 1 minute left on the clock. I get the ball should I shoot? No, I put all my heart into a cross. It soars over the heads of PSG players straight into the path of Sergi Roberto could it be? It seemed as if the ball moved in slow motion…he scores! The biggest comeback in Champions League History!!!

Arsenal 1-5 Bayern

What a game for Bayern as they achieve the same scoreline as the other leg now making it 10-2 in aggregate for Bayern. Arsenal start out strong in this game with a screamer from Walcott in the 19th minute, Neuer had no chance at saving it. For a second people had hopes of an Arsenal comeback. The first half seems pretty uneventful with no further goals for either team. Just minutes after halftime Bayern set Lewandowski through and Koscielny fouls him hard from behind. The ref points to the spot and shows a yellow card which he changes to a red. Lewandowski steps up and converts it in the 55th minute.

Bayern now put hard pressure on arsenal and get one through Robben in the 68th and a long shot from Costa in the 78th. Oh my Bayern have no mercy as they put another 2 past him through Vidal one in the 80th and in the 85th. This is one of the biggest wins in champions league history and will be remembered for a long time. Bayern are truly incredible and one of the top contenders for the final in Wales. MOTM Vidal

Napoli 1-3 Real Madrid

Another scoreline that is exactly the same as the first leg what a coincidence. The first to strike are Napoli with a great pass by Hamsik and Mertens converts it. What a chance by Ronaldo in the 29th as he takes it past the keeper and hits the post. Napoli get in on the action as well as Mertens hits the post after a great shot in the 37th. That’s all for the second half.

In a span of 6 minutes Ramos converts 2 headers one from each corner! One in the 51st and the other in the 57th both assisted by Kroos! Not much action for the rest of the game as Madrid lead by 1 goal. Madrid put the icing on the cake in the 91st minutes through Morata. Madrid go through on a 6-2 aggregate. MOTM Ramos

Juventus 1-0 Porto

Juventus were clear favorites for this tie as they were already leading on aggregate before the game had even started. Juventus were dominant throughout but weren’t able to finish until the 41st when a shot from Higuain was handballed off the line by Maxi Pereira. The ref pointed to the penalty spot and showed a red card to Pereira. Dybala sends the keeper the wrong way and converts the penalty with ease. Juventus are solid throughout the rest of the game but neither team can penetrate the opponent’s defense. MOTM Dybala

Leicester 2-0 Sevilla

Nobody thought Leicester could do it. This could possibly be the biggest moment in club history as they have never made it this far into the Champions League. The first goal for Leicester comes after a Mahrez free kick which is somehow kneed into the goal for the 1-0. Sevilla get a great chance in the 53rd with a longshot hitting the crossbar. Albrighton! Leicester are 2-0 up through a wonderful shot by the Englishman. Red card! Samir Nasri gets a red after a confrontation with Vardy. Vardy was clearly over reacting but nonetheless Sevilla play with 10 men. Sevilla get a penalty after Vitolo was fouled in the 79th! N’Zonzi steps up for it to possibly win the game but he makes it easy for Schmeichel. Leicester are in the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time ever. MOTM Schmeichel, following in his father’s footsteps.

Barcelona 6-1 Paris SG

What a game. This game will be remembered for years. From the start you could sense Barcelona was gonna be dominant the whole game. In the 62nd minute Edison Cavani scored for Paris making the score 3-1. That gave Barca fans a big scare because that meant Barca had to score 2 more goals to move on. But the last seven minutes of the game was just goal after goal after goal for the Catalonians. One of the best comebacks ever. MOTM Neymar.

Dortmund 4-0 Benfica

After the last shocking 1-0 defeat Dortmund suffered by Benfica you knew they were out for revenge. They definitely got it. All Dortmund, All the time. Aubameyang scored a hat-trick to redeem himself from his missed penalty last week. MOTM Aubameyang

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen

You know when you are playing at the Vincente Calderon you’re not gonna score. The Atletico defense is just too good. Leverkusen did just that. Boring nil-nil except for an exceptional triple save by Jan Oblak, Magnifico. MOTM Jan Oblak.

AS Monaco 3-1 Manchester City

All Man City had to do is not lose by 2 or more goals, and that’s exactly what happened. The youngster who everyone has their eye on, Mbappe, scored in the 8th minute. Then in the 29th Fabinho made it 2. All Manchester City had to do was score one and park the bus. They scored one but didn’t park the bus. Which led to Bakayoko scoring for Monaco sending them through to the quarter finals. MOTM Mbappe.
