Have you ever been sitting in class and realized you don’t have your house keys? What about your chap stick, lotion or even your cell phone? The truth is we have all been victims of leaving our everyday necessities at home. To avoid this, many people put all of their belongings in their back pack.

The real question here; what’s in your bag?

A shirt, snacks, gloves, make-up, keys and pencils are all things Stephanie Rivas ’15, keeps in her bag. She commented, “I have SO much in my bag, and I need all that stuff in case something happens.” Most people feel like their entire day won’t go right if they don’t have their bag. Fabio Marte ’16, gave a list of his backpack necessities: chap stick, lotion, extra pencils, headphones, and most importantly, his charger. “If my phone isn’t on 100%, then I’m not on 100%” he remarked. Vanessa Plaza ‘15 and Rachel Springmann ‘15, talked about more academic items, like school work and class binders.

The things people keep in their bags say a lot about what kind of person they are. If you carry your charger with you, you love to socialize and plan; the day your phone dies will never come. If you keep a stash of snacks in your bag, you like to be prepared for when that random hunger strikes. We are all different, so what do the things in your bag say about you?
