1000 Degree Pizza: The New Pike Pizza Craze!
The chilly fall winds and overcast skies bring Arlington to the doors of the latest Arlington Pizza Place: 1000 Degree Pizza. It is located at 3400 Columbia Pike. According to Statistic Brain, over 32 billion dollars is spent on pizza every year. #pizzaislife So, this place has a fighting chance to stay on The Pike. With their familiarly light and crispy crust and perfect cheese, this restaurant has become the neighborhood’s new best friend.
When I first walked in, I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome by one of the staff members at the counter. The second thing I noticed was the mouth-watering smell of the freshly cooked pizzas. As I searched for the menu board, I was blown away by the gigantic list of options that seemed to stretch on forever. With so many choices, it was hard to settle with one; so my family and I decided to get 2 pizzas. We eventually settled on a large Margarita and a Buffalo Chicken. After we had gotten our drinks and settled in, it was only about 5 minutes before the server had brought our pizzas to our table.
As our pizzas arrived at our table, I could barely remember to take pictures for this article…I looked forward to taking the first bite. To say the least, I was amazed at how fresh the pizza sitting in front of me looked, and I soon learned that it tasted just as good. In the blink of an eye, I devoured every last bite of food. The taste and texture were perfect. The only slightdrawback was the crust. It was a bit too thin for my taste, but the pizza made up for that with its overall fabulous cheese and sauce ratio. I’m no pizza expert, but I’ve tried many pizzas. The pizzas at 1000 Degree Pizza are 100% worth the visit!
