Looking for something fun and free to do? Artomatic is the place to be! Artomatic has returned to Crystal City. This year there is a line up of over 600 artists, performers, musicians, all showcasing their talents on 7 floors.

There are so many things to do and see at Artomatic, at every turn it’s a new adventure. “It’s really cool to see all sorts of mediums of arts and music too. You can talk directly with artists, and you can buy art too!” said sophomore Grace Jones.

Who is Artomatic? What does Artomatic do?

Artomatic is a volunteer-run organization that hosts and organizes a large arts festival every 12-18 months in the DC metropolitan area. People come from all over the place to see the beautiful art work and witness the breathtaking performances.

Where is it?

It’s in Crystal City, at 1800 South Bell Street, Crystal City, VA 22202. The festival will take place on floors 3-9.

When is it?

Here’s the schedule:

Wednesdays:   Noon to 10:00pm
Thursdays:       Noon to 10:00pm
Fridays:            Noon to Midnight
Saturdays:        Noon to Midnight
Sundays:        Noon to 8:00pm 

Be sure to come next Saturday April 8th at 7:00 pm for Meet the Artists Night. Opening night was March 24th, but don’t worry it’s still open until May 6th, so there’s plenty of time to come and check it out!
