Winter is a long season, unless you are doing a school sport, most people find that there is not a lot do. How about getting paid to do something you like? Here are nine ideas to put some money in your pocket during the coldest months of the year.

1) Open an Etsy Shop!

Do you like thrift shopping? Making cool shirts? Or even doing crafts? Why not sell some of these things for a profit? There are tons of different shops on etsy that attract a variety of people. If you have something that you think people will want why not sell it, its a great way to make money while making what you love.

 2) Babysit

Sure, babysitting sounds super typical but you can make bank while playing with kids. If you like kids and you have some free time babysitting would be a great way to make some money on the side. If you want to get really fancy you can have a flat rate then charge extra per kid.

 3) Apply For a Part-Time Job

If you’re not good at making things and you want a definite paycheck how about getting a part time job? There are tons of jobs out there for teens, hosting, retail, cashier, etc. Craigslist is a great place to look if you are interested.

 4) Shovel The Snow

No one wants to do this job but someone has to. Make some flyers, go door to door; you’d be surprised at the amount of people that would be willing to pay for this service.

 5) Be a Tutor

Do you play an instrument? Are you good at a particular subject? How about making some money off of teaching the subject of your choice? This job gives you a lot of leniency.

 6) Build a Website

Programing is a hot new thing that a lot of teens are taking up. If you are able to program why not make some money off it? Make tumblr themes, special web pages, this is a good way to make money while building a portfolio!

7) Get Paid To Tweet

Have a lot of followers? Did you know you can get paid to tweet? Through different websites like www.sponsoredtweets.com you can get paid for promoting business’s! There are tons of websites and companies willing to pay teens to tweet.

 8) Design Web Logos

If you’re into graphic design or photography a great thing to do would be to design web logos. Every day tons of new companies and websites are looking for logos, get yourself out there as an artist and promote yourself!

 9) Sell Your Gaming Accounts

One big thing that kids are doing is selling gaming accounts. If you have codes or cheats a lot of gamers might be willing to buy them from you.

One of these ten ideas should work for you. Get some money in your wallet, so come spring time, you can be ready and not have to search for funds to have fun.
