5 Tips To Get through the Last 15 Days

By this point in the quarter, you’re probably drained.  You’re basically ready to give up and crawl into your bed.  You would much rather be at the beach than be in math class with people you can’t stand. With SOLs and finals in full swing, you need all the advice you can get to make it through the last few weeks of school.

Know what you’re working towards

Imagine the way you want your life to be as an adult.  The end of the year may seem pretty boring, and some of your classes might seem useless. Remembering that you need some sort of education to obtain your goals will help you to stay motivated and keep you progressing. You might want to go to college or even travel the world. Use that to give you the drive to reach your goal.

Know what’s worth your time

AVOID drama at all cost. This is probably one of the biggest things to remember. Just drop the feud you’re having with so and so. At this point in the quarter is it even worth it to start drama? No, it really isn’t. Trust me that one person who was “shading” you on Snapchat isn’t going to matter during the summer, let alone in a few years time. Avoiding drama will just help your last few weeks go by smoothly.

Know your friends

Cut out the negative people in your life. It may be hard at first, but in the end it will help. You’re going to want people around you who want to see you succeed in life. These support systems will help you by providing practical and emotional support.

Know your accomplishments

You might not have reached your goal yet, but you have accomplished something to be proud of. Accomplishments don’t have to be huge. They can be as little as finishing your English essay to as big as cutting out added sugar from your diet. You need to give yourself a much-needed break or a quick treat. You deserve it.

Know the schedule

You’re already worrying enough about school. The last thing you need to be worrying about is your schedule. Don’t be that one kid who is getting lost in the building because they don’t know what’s going on that day. You don’t want to walk into your 7th-period gym just to find out that 7th period isn’t happening today. Don’t worry, I got your back.

Here is the schedule for the rest of school:

Don’t give up. The year is almost up, 15 days to go. Soon you’ll get to be laying in your bed at 11:00 am, on a Monday morning. You have come so far and accomplished so much. If you somehow managed to get through the hardest part of the year, 3rd-quarter, then you can definitely get through the last days.

School is almost over, so finish strong.
