Swimmers made a Splash at States! Congrats Emily and Anthony!
Senior Emily Andrews and sophomore Anthony Doll made it to States for Swim. The Swim and Dive team has made some excellent strides this season, building on the success of past swimmers to have 2 top competitors break records and compete at the State level.
Both did very well at Regionals, with Emily beating a personal record in fly, she dropped her time from 58.62 to 58.12 seconds! When asked about her accomplishment, she said, “I feel really accomplished since I’ve had a decent past few seasons but I didn’t perform the way I hoped to.” She shook it off and performed so well at States. She got 1st Alternate Position for the 100 m Fly in the State! Way to go, Warrior!
Anthony placed first in the Boys 200m Freestyle at Regionals with a time of 1.42.73, and ninth in the Boys 100m Freestyle at Regionals with a time of 48.32, dropping from his previous time by 0.63 seconds!
