Bone Marrow Drive And Bake Sale
Friday, February 27th is a special day. That’s the day that you have the chance to save a life.
Wakefield High School is hosting a Bone Marrow Donation Drive Friday, February 27th from 3-6pm in the cafeteria. To register, you have to be 18 or older and in good general health. To sign up, all you have to do is fill out a form and swab your cheek. The process takes only a few minutes, and could make a huge impact to someone’s life.
Those students who cannot join the registry can still help. We are also having a bake sale. We will have lots of great goodies for sale—cookies, brownies, and even Georgetown Cupcakes! All proceeds will go to Be The Match Foundation to help those in need. So come out and support. Swab your cheek and get a treat….and even save a life.

Nice, we should have more things like this in the school.
