#24 Madison Holt makes some moves on the field.

Freshman Madison Holt is known as a strong defensive player for the team; “I’ve been playing since kindergarten. I love the rush of running down the field” said Holt. Even though the girls haven’t brought a ‘W’ home yet, Madison said, “I think the team is doing pretty well.”

She’s known as the hype man and she has to make sure that everyone stays motivated at all times. Holt likes to play music to get everybody pumped and encourages others to do the same to keep the spirits up. “The team is really tight together and there are a lot of friendly vibes.” said Holt.

The JV Girls Soccer team has been hustling hard but been coming up short on the scoreboard. Currently, the girls are 0-11 with one tie; scoring a point against Thomas Jefferson High School on April 14th. “The best game was when we had tied 0-0, we pushed ourselves and tried out best” she said.

Their last game is Tuesday, May 10th. Go and show your #warriorpride and support BOTH the JV and Varsity Girls soccer teams at Stuart. The JV game is at 5:45pm. The Varsity game is at 7:15pm.
