Wakefield athletes are known for showing their spirit regardless of what the score board says. The field hockey and volleyball teams show spirit on game days by participating in fun spirit days. Past spirit days have included: America day, hippie day, rock and roll day and black out day. These spirit days are not only fun, they also bring the team together. Many think that dressing for these spirit days really unifies teams when they’re on the court or the field. Mia Field ’15, captain of the Varsity Volleyball team even thinks they bring good luck, “the first time we all participated in a spirit day was the first time we won a game!” Check out the slide show to see how these Warriors show their team pride.
