Get those bargains on Friday!

The time to bundle up in your snuggies, listen to holiday music and enjoy your $4.55 pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks is finally here! It’s winter! The temperature is dropping and so is the balance in your bank account. Not only does Christmas shopping empty your pockets, but winter attire seems to be more expensive than it’s ever been. I’m referring to $40 scarves and $80 sweaters. This seems like an exceptionally high price to pay for items that should be around $10 and $35 respectfully. Admittedly, these over priced items are cute, but are they really worth the amount listed on their price tag? My advice for getting these great winter pieces is to go straight to the sale section. You get the same quality from your favorite stores while skipping their outrageous prices. Try going to thrift shops; you’ll be surprised at what you’re able to dig up at your local goodwill store. Another great option is going old fashioned and knitting your own scarves and hats. It’s a great way to pass time and you get exactly what you want. You could also knit your friends and family some awesome winter accessories as a gift. Skip the crazy prices and still get fashionable good quality clothes for the most expensive time of the year.
