The Varsity Volleyball team just went down in history at Wakefield. After a season of perseverance our Warriors advanced to the Region 5A-North tournament for the first time ever!

When asked about their thoughts going into this game, senior Myisha Ferguson (who has played on varsity all four years…) said,  “It’s very exciting, I’m glad to be on a team that made a mark and will stay in Wakefield history!” 

Hailey Finlay, another one of our seniors said, “it’s amazing, I can’t believe it! I feel like the talent has always been there but the coach helped bring it out.” Ferguson added, “having a new coach brought in new energy, she helped us connect more and helped us play as a team rather than individuals.”

Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team on making Wakefield history! We are so proud of these ladies on and off the court.
