Reunited and it feels so good.

An already insane NBA offseason just got even crazier.

One week ago, the New York Knicks traded Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a 2018 second-round pick.

This blockbuster trade comes as a huge surprise. Throughout the entire offseason it was largely speculated that Anthony would eventually end up a member of the Houston Rockets. Similar to the Paul George acquisition earlier this summer, the Thunder were never rumored to be a contender for Anthony.

Last Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers made big waves as well acquiring Dwayne Wade as a free agent. Dwayne Wade and Lebron James, the two banana boat buddies, will join forces again after a 3 year break.

Both the Thunder and the Cavaliers look to dethrone the Golden State Warriors with their new additions. To find out more about last week’s acquisitions read these articles from ESPNĀ here and here.
