Clemson celebration their National Championship title last winter.

After an amazing finish to the College Football season that had upsets of top 10 teams, crazy last second scores and the playoff teams being chosen, its time for all the hype of the College Bowl games and the playoffs to determine the National Champion.

The regular season has come to an end, and the bowl games are just beginning, along with the playoffs that start soon after. Here are a few big games that you should definitely look out for if you plan on seeing some of College Football’s top athletes this Winter Break.

Here are the Bowl Games: (There are Bowl Games and Playoff Games. The Bowl Games are teams that are not in the top four who are invited to play…like a mini-Superbowl. The Playoffs are the top four teams until only one remains: the Champion Team!)

Stanford vs. TCU (December 28th)

Number 13 Stanford will face off against number 15 TCU in the Valero Alamo Bowl; this game is one to watch because of Stanford’s running back Bryce Love, who finished off the season with 1973 rushing yards and 17TD and finished second in the Heisman trophy voting. The combo of this high power offense and TCU’s great defense should make this a good game.

USC vs. Ohio State (December 29th)

Number 8 USC squares off against number 5 Ohio state in the Cotton Bowl. This game should be a very good one because Ohio State was the best team not to make the playoffs and have one of the best defenses in the country, but on the other hand USC has one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Sam Darnold who should be going into the NFL after this season. It will be interesting to see how Darnold preforms against Ohio State in this intense bowl game.

Wisconsin vs. Miami (December 30th)

Number 6 Wisconsin and number 10 Miami face off in the Orange bowl. Miami who was undefeated for most of the season and has the #1 ranked defense in the country and forces the #1 amount of turnovers per game. They will play against a Wisconsin team who rarely turns it over and is one of the top schools in the country for time of possession, which will keep Miami’s great defense off the field.

UCF vs Auburn (January 1st)

Number 12 UCF plays number 7 Auburn in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. This game should be interesting because UCF is 12-0 on the season and who looks to stay undefeated for the first time in school history and arguably should have been in more consideration for the playoffs because if there record. They play against another team who also arguably should’ve been in more consideration for the playoffs as they has beat 2 of the four teams who are in the playoffs in the regular season.

Playoff games to watch:

(2) Oklahoma vs (3) Georgia

(1) Clemson vs (4) Alabama

Both these games take place on January 1st and the winners of these games go on to play each other in the National Championship, January 8th. These playoff games should be very good because of all have amazing talents; these should be the most exciting games to watch.
