Step 1: Purchase your favorite pancakes mix and food coloring from your favorite grocery store.

Step 2: Use the directions on the box to mix all of your ingredients in one bowl.

Step 3: Once the batter is mixed, divide the batter into 6 separate cups (this number will change according to how much colorful fun you want to have)

Step 4: Make the colored batter:

– Red: (bowl 1) Put 4 drops of red food coloring and mix well.

– Orange: (bowl 2) Put 5 drops of red food coloring and 5 drops of yellow food coloring and mix well.

– Yellow: (bowl 3) 3 drops of yellow food coloring and mix well.

– Green: (bowl 4) 4 drops of green food coloring and mix well.

– Blue: (bowl 5) 4 drops of blue food coloring and mix well.

– Purple (bowl 6) 5 drops of blue and 5 drops of red food coloring and mix well.

Step 5: Preheat oven to medium

Step 6: Spray cooking spray on your pan. You don’t want your colorful pancakes to stick to stick to the pan, do you?

Step 7: Pour batter into pan and cook until they are ready to be flipped. Watch for bubbles, then you know the pancakes are ready to be flipped. Be careful! Burnt pancakes are NO FUN!

Step 8: Cook the other side for about a minute.

Step 9: Repeat Steps 7 and 8 until you have all pancakes cooked.

Step 10: Put you colorful pancakes on a plate in order (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple) and ENJOY!
