Mystics at the Nationals World Series clinching game on Tuesday night.

The Washington Mystics are the 2019 WNBA champions; the team has had a long run leading them to their first championship in franchise history. In the final game on Thursday, October 10th, the Mystics held the lead throughout the majority of the game bringing them to a finish of  89-78 over the Connecticut Suns. The MVP performance came from Emma Meesseman; she came off the bench with 22 points playing 27 minutes. Both teams showed that the WNBA deserved more than a slot on ESPN 2 for the final playoff game of the season.
