Join the Refereeing Club. This club will last 10 weeks and starts in two days.

Starting Thursday, January 9th after school, in A-301, Dr.Wiersma will teach anyone who is interested everything there is to know about the sport of soccer and refereeing. Dr. Wiersma said, “Refereeing is both a great way to earn money and develop leadership skills at the same time.” Being a soccer ref is fun, and can also help you earn some cash. You make different amounts of money based on the grade level that you ref.

While this club gives you the chance to learn all about refereeing soccer, it also will help you become trained and ready for spring Soccer! No one can play soccer forever, but with this refereeing knowledge, you can continue being involved in the sport. Dr. Wiersma said, “Refereeing can be a great way to participate in soccer for a lifetime.”
