Supreme Court in Discussion on DACA

Recently, The U.S Supreme court has been in discussion about whether or not President Trump should go forward with his proposal to end the DACA program. This program was created by the Obama Administration in hopes to protect children that came to the United States illegally from deportation.

Currently there are more than 700,000 young immigrants waiting anxiously on the Supreme Court to carry out a program that would protect them from deportation to foreign countries that are unrecognizable to them. The aftermath could determine whether or not immigrants can continue working and living in the US, many of which have been registered with the U.S Government since 2012.

No real decision was made at this time. According to abc.com, “The Supreme Court is expected to deliver it’s decision in the case by the end of June 2020.” Read more at abc.com.
