Theaters aren’t open and we miss seeing our friends. A safe way to watch a movie with friends is to have a watch party. If you all have Netflix, it is part of the membership. Other streaming devices offer the Watch Party feature, too. Follow these directions and watch the video to see how to set this up on any device. It even works on your MacBook Air.

Step 1. Go to Teleparty.com and click “Install Teleparty”. Once you are redirected to Chrome Webstore, Press “Add to Chrome”. Teleparty only works on Chrome.

Step 2. After you’ve installed Teleparty you should notice a “TP” icon located next to your web address bar.
If you do not see a “TP” icon, press on the puzzle icon next to the web address bar and pin the “TP” icon to your Chrome toolbar.

Step 3. Choose a Streaming website and find a TV show or movie to watch, and start playing the video.

Step 4. To create your party, press on the red “TP” icon located next to the web address bar. Then press “Start Party” to get the party started, then share the party URL to invite friends.

Step 5. To join a party press on the party URL, which will redirect to Netflix’s website. Then click on the “TP” icon next to the address bar, and you should automatically join the party.
