NASA Launches a Rocket to Test New Technologies

NASA launched the Artemis I Mega Rocket this month. It was carrying a spaceship, Orion; the most powerful rocket ever built. With an explosion of white-hot fire and an ear-splitting noise, the 322-foot-tall Artemis, the most potent yet created for NASA, finally launched on Wednesday, carrying the unmanned Orion capsule on a long-awaited trip to the moon.

The spaceship is designed to test new technologies that could be used to launch humans into space. The rocket is a reusable two-stage rocket that stands taller than a 20-story building and is powered by four rs-25 engines, while the second stage uses solid rocket boosters.

NASA plans to use this to launch future missions to the moon and Mars and to launch satellites and supplies to the international space station.
