Only a Sophomore and Taking Over?

Nick Cadby-Spicer is by far one of the most interesting people at Wakefield. He is only a sophomore and is already taking over the acting world. He has performed in many plays and playhouses in his young life; one of his greatest performances was the lead role in The Great Gatsby. Below are some interesting things you may not know about Nick in the form of a photo collage from his performance in the fall play. Come see him perform in Wakefield’s Spring Musical Anything Goes Friday and Saturday, May 1, 2, and 8, 9 at 7pm. For more information go to the Wakefield Theater Arts website.*

*Correction: A previous release of this article had the dates for the performances as May 8, 9 and 15, 16. The Chieftain apologizes for any confusion.

His motivation is his mother who has been the Theater teacher at Yorktown High School for 20 years.

What makes him stand out? “The opportunities that I take advantage of.”

One piece of advice for #warriornation? “Never let anyone affect you when they talk bad or dislike you; stay confident.”
