“NO” Al Sueño Americano

Las redadas fueron el primer esfuerzo a gran escala para deportar a las familias que habían huido de la violencia y la pobreza en América Central en 2014 y 2015. Más de 100.000 familias con niños y adultos cruzaron la frontera suroeste.

Los Estados Unidos ha tomado un gran decisión que impactará a los hispanos en todo partes de este país. Familias serán separadas, estudiantes no podrán vivir el sueño Americano. Pánico empezó a atacar a muchos hispanos cuando escucharon de las rederas de ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) para los hispanos indocumentados que se han venido para vivir en los Estados Unidos. 

Pero ha habido reportes de inmigrantes capturados en todo de los estados unidos. El impacto ha sido muy grave a muchos dueños de negocios, El dueño de una tienda de joyas y reparación de relojes en , Mario Perla, en Wheaton, MD dice que los ingresos han bajado 50 o 60 por ciento desde el principio de este mes. “Es difícil para cubrir el alquiler y las facturas . Es un poco de miedo” dice Perla.

Nosotros inmigrantes de los Estados Unidos creemos que la ley está haciendo injusto con nosotros porque están separando familias, más en particular las madres solteras que han llegado aquí para darle a sus hijos la mejor vida posible. Las familias inmigrantes salen de su país porque aveces están escapando la violencia en su país o la pobreza. Familias están tristes porque se han llevado gente de sus casas. Algunas familias dicen que sus familiares eran quienes hacían la casa sentir como una casa, ahora dicen que sin ellos no se siente como nada.

NO to the chance at the American Dream.

In 2014 and 2015, families began to flee the violence and poverty in Central America totaling up to about 100,000 families with kids that crossed the border.

The United States has made a decision on the future of these Hispanic immigrants. Families have been separated, students can not experience the American dream. Panic spread throughout the Hispanic and Latino communities when they first heard of the raids from ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) on undocumented Hispanics that have come to live in the United States. The raids were the first push to the deportations of undocumented Latinos. 

There has been reports of ICE raids all over the U.S which raises tension between the undocumented people in the U.S. These raids have impacted everyone, especially those who own a business. According to thinkprogress.org, Mario Perla, in Wheaton, MD has had his revenue lowered from 50-60% since the beginning of January.  He said, “see, now it’s very quiet. It’s hard to cover the rent and bills. It’s kind of scary.”

Immigrants believe that U.S. laws are an injustice and unfair because it’s separating families. These rules take away opportunities for the single mothers that come to the U.S. and give their children an opportunity to grow and have a better life and future. For little children to have to see another family member from their home get taken away is just unjustified.

It’s unfair for these families to have to go back and face violence, poverty, and even potential death due to slaughters of gangs in their home country.
