According to Ms. Davidson, “Wakefield Art students claimed a whopping 504 individual Awards and 25 Portfolio (Portfolios are a thematic body of 6 works that is a visual culmination of 4 years of Art and is limited to Seniors.) awards at the 2024 Regional Art Competition!
In total, Wakefield students won 130 individual Gold Keys, 182 Silver Keys, and 192 Honorable Mentions. They also won 23 Gold Keys and 2 Silver Keys for their Art portfolios.
Our Wakefield art students were also chosen to receive 3 prestigious American Vision Awards.

Samantha Phipps for her illustration ‘Spotlight’ and
Rylus Geo Santiago for his illustration, ‘Veiled Truth’.
There are only 5 American Visions Awards chosen each year from the Scholastic Gold Key winners, and these are considered Best in Show!”
