Senior Neydi Posada, like most seniors, is passionate about her senior project. It is bringing awareness of Multiple Sclerosis to our community. According to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society,”Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.” After learning that a close family friend, who had done a lot for her mom and her family, had MS, she decided that she wanted to do something to help.

To help raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis, Neydi particpated in Walk MS, on April 10, 2016. Walk MS is the largest fundraiser for the National MS Society. To help shine a light on Multiple Sclerosis she is asking #warriornation to donate to her website. She has gathered $50. Her goal is $125. Give what you can, #warriornation.

Walk MS was designed to create a world free of MS. The Walk MS Reston 2016 charity event raised over $250,000 to stop this debilitating disease. Visit the site to see how you can help.
